SMS Notification Consent

How QuoteCat collects consent for job assignment notifications

QuoteCat sends SMS notifications to field workers on behalf of their employers (contractors). Workers must explicitly opt in before receiving any job notifications.

How Opt-In Works

  1. Employer adds team member - The contractor adds a worker to their team with the worker's phone number
  2. Worker receives opt-in SMS - The worker receives a text message asking them to reply YES to confirm consent
  3. Worker replies YES - Only after the worker confirms do they start receiving job notifications
  4. Job notifications begin - The worker receives SMS when assigned to new jobs

Opt-In Message

Workers receive the following message before any job notifications are sent:

{Company} wants to send you job notifications via QuoteCat. Reply YES to opt in. Msg frequency varies. Msg&data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel.
